General Question

The Cyclones program is an extension to the In-House League at Clearwater Ice Arena. In order to participate in the Cyclones program, you must be registered in the In-House program.

100% participation is expected. Coaches approve all players

The Cyclones program offers:
In addition to the number of House league practices and games per season.
On-Ice Development Practice of 1.25 hours per week per season.
Off-Ice Development of 30 Minutes to improve fitness and strength
Opportunities to participate in Team activities
Opportunities to compete in Hockey Tournaments, both local and distant.

The Cyclones offers a program that falls between an In-House (Recreational) Leagues and Travel Programs at a reduce cost and commitment. This would be considered a “Rec-Select” like program.

The Cyclones “Rec-Select” program increases the frequency of practices and exercises to advance a players development without the obligations of travel programs.

The Cyclones will participate in local or regional scrimmages vs other rec-select programs and tournaments in both the rec-league and travel classifications. Events that are away from CIA are considered optional.

The Cyclones offers local development to increase player performance. Travel is kept to a minimum and local.
